COURSE - Q12/4 (2008)

The course described is the one planned for 2008. The start sheet will contain the finalised version but details of the course including intermediate and cumulative distances can be found here. Details of the circuit can be found here.

The event starts at Bethersden, goes east to Ashford, where riders turn and at New Street Farm they turn left and at the end of the lane left again back toward the southern side of Ashford. Passing through Park Farm and Cloverleaf round-a-bouts riders drop down toward Brenzett using the A2070. At Brenzett riders go straight across through Brookland turning left at East Guldeford, through Camber and Lydd to turn left at Hammond's Corner (New Romney) back to Brenzett.

At then end of the Appledore circuit riders go straight across the round-about at Brenzett to wards Ashford on the A2070. as the road climbs riders pass under the road bridge for the B2067, and immediately turn left, and at the top of the slip road, turn Right back toward Ashford on the B2067. At Magpie Hall Lane they turn left to New Street Farm and then turn left to follow the A28 through Brenzett to Tenterden, where they bear left on the outskirts to drop down to Appledore an on to Brenzett. They complete two full circuits.

Riders then follow the Appledore circuit along Magpie Hall Lane, but turn left at Stubbs Cross, through Shadoxhurst and Woodchurch to Appledore and Brenzett. The complete three circuits through Woodchurch and then follow the coourse to Magpie Hall Lane, but continue to New Street Farm where they turn left and join the the finishing circuit which is just to the south east of Bethersden.
